Mosley Tribes and streetwear label Crooks & Castles join forces for a special limited edition pair of their famed Castelleno sunglasses. After the success of their first collaboration, the two west coast labels have decided to team up once more to commemorate Crooks & Castles 10 Year Anniversary.

The first incarnation sold out worldwide and became instant collector’s items, now the pimped out Castellano is back in 2 new limited edition colorways, offered here in: Matte with brushed gold finish end pieces and grey gradient lenses with Crooks & Castles etching detail.

The frames feature 10yr anniversary stamping in the inside temple and come complete with a special edition carrying pouch to mark the limited edition collaboration.

Incase x Stussy Collection [preview]

At the Stussy Berlin pop-up shop they showed off their forthcoming Incase collection. The line up consists of t-shirts, caps, several different bags, earbud headphones and an iPhone case. The whole range works within a black white and gold color scheme and incorporates key elements from each brand including signature logos, patterns and materials. Both hats, caps, and skatedecks are must haves.

Skateable Sculptures by Rich Holland

One of the key artworks is Skateable Sculpture by Rich Holland. His work combines action with aesthetics, physical pleasure with visual pleasure. Sculptures that can be skated on are placed in a challenging position between highbrow art and urban popular subculture. He focuses on the issue about the right to public space, fiercely debated in Finland too, that is gradually being occupied by commercial and other private bodies. Star Wars Recreations of Famous Photographs by David Eger

 

David Eger presents a series of photographs, recreating famous photographs with Star Wars characters. Storm Troopers and of course also Darth Vader appear in the series, entitled ’365 Days of Clones’. As part of a year-long project ’365 days of clones’, canadian art teacher david eger has recreated famous photographs and paintings using star wars figurines. the scenography is done in real life rather than in photoshop, in a project that was eger’s response to his new year’s resolution to pursue personal photographic endeavours more often. Eger photographed each piece on a date relevant to the original work: the anniversary of the date the photograph was taken in the case of most contemporary pieces; or the birth or death dates of the artist for images like his recreations of pablo picasso’s ’guernica’ or leonardo da vinci’s ‘vitruvian man’.
