The Underachievers – Indigoism [mixtape]

As members of the Beast Coast movement (which includes Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era crew), The Underachievers are part of the new wave of rappers that have been coming out of New York. But they’re also repping the West: last summer the duo signed to Flying Lotus’ label in LA, Brainfeeder. ‘Indigoism’ marks the first Brainfeeder/Underachievers collaboration. Dropping February 1st, the 17-track mixtape features the duo’s underground hits (including ‘Gold Soul Theory,’ ‘Herb Shuttles’ and ‘Leopard Shepherd’), in addition to brand new tracks produced by the likes of Mr Bristol, Rich Flyer, The Entreproducers, Bruce Lee Kixxs, Juice and Lou Chapo from Tribe Gang, and Dreamrite. Listening to their sage lyrics, it’s hard to believe they’re only 21 (Ak) and 22 (Issa Dash) years old. And on the strength of ‘Indigoism,’ it’s near impossible to believe that up until 9 months ago, Ak and Dash had no set intention to be in the rap game at all. As they say themselves: “Indigos on the rise".

Nike SB January 2013 releases

New for January Nike SB brings us new colorways of the Team Edition, Janoski, Dunk Low Pro and Dunk High are now available. The Team Edition comes in a Royal Blue colorway with a suede upper and gum rubber cup sole, and the Janoski arrives in Dark Atomic Teal with a suede upper and white vulcanized rubber outsole.  The Dunk Low Pro will be available in Navy Blue with a suede upper and grey rubber cup sole, while the Dunk High sees an Anthracite/Olive colorway with suede upper and gum rubber cup sole.

Nike SB Koston X Heritage Sneaker

“Drawing from two of Nike’s all-time favorite models, the Koston X Heritage is a unique hybrid of the Eric Koston 1 crossbred with one of Frost’s personal favorite running shoes, the equally legendary Nike Air Max 90. A blockbuster union if there ever was one, but don’t get it twisted: this ain’t no potato head job quickly slapped together by some footwear Frankenstein, but a full overhaul personally supervised by Koston himself in his typical hands-on approach to make sure the details came out just right.
The obvious thing that jumps out with the Koston X Heritage is the incorporation of the rubber back and heel details, but there’s a whole lot more going on here. In addition to its full-length Lunarlon insole, the Koston 1 provides the perfect blank slate for the enforced collar and wavy seamwork that are classic staples of the Air Max 90 design. While the Koston X Heritage represents a clever and curious experimentation, it remains first and foremost a high-performance skate shoe. Koston wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The colorways of the Nike SB Koston X Heritage will be hitting retailers this season and a third colorway will come next season.

The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo

This is what I want for Christmas please .... The Gallardo design has now been further accentuated in the new Gallardo LP 560-4. The new front end is characterized by triangular and trapezoidal forms – two shapes that are highly typical of the Lamborghini design language. Divided by diagonal elements in body color and in black, the overall look of the front end is broader and more forceful, giving it an even stronger bond with the road.
To complete the new look larger air intakes have been created ahead of the front wheels and the new 19-inch “Apollo polished” alloy wheels, painted in matt black and featuring precision-machined spokes in polished silver.
With a more determined lightweight design, a focus on high performance and a purist look, the LP 570-4 Superleggera and the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante mark the very pinnacle of the Gallardo family.
In Edizione Tecnica form, they benefit from an improved equipment level and an even more individual look. Features of the Edizione Tecnica include the fixed high rear wing, as well as brakes in carbon-ceramic technology. The brakes combine low weight with outstanding fade resistance and durability.
