More form the Coraline x Nike Dunk High Collector’s Box

If the limited run of exclusive prop-filled Coraline x Nike Dunks weren’t special enough, fifteen of the world’s top retailers have been given the ultimate Coraline tribute with a special wooden collector’s box. The collector box includes a special key in addition to a high-quality box filled with a print seen on the under portion of the lid. The Coraline movie is the most recent release 3-D animated release from film-makers LAIKA and is currently showing at select theaters.

Vans Owen Hi LS aka "They Look like J's to me"

A new release emanating out of Vans’ features the Owen Hi LS in a familiar colors. Drawing some parallels with the Air Jordan franchise, this release features a white leather upper with quilted and croc skin highlights. Also seen are partial hits of clear soles and speckled midsoles. The Jordan comparison comes full circle with red seen along the liner and heels.

FILA look towards Japanese clothiers Product for their next collaboration project, featuring the timeless 70’s Fitness model. Riding the “Gucci” wave, Product implements features throughout the sneakers inspired by the famous fashion house. Nike January 2009 Releases | Air Max 1, Big Nike, Air Tailwind ‘92, Blazer, Air Max 90 @ Proper

Lots of interesting new Nike’s have hit stores this past week. Among the releases is a pack of an Air Max 1 and a Big Nike coming in a bold red/black colorway. The Air Max 90 comes in a black/neon yellow colorway, the Blazer with a woven textile upper and after releasing the Air Tailwind ‘92 in its classic colors last month, a new colorway dropped this month. Overall a nice line-up of new sneakers. They are now in stock at Proper.

Louis Vuitton x Kanye West Womens Sneakers

Here now a first look at the womens sneaker. It comes in a grey suede colorway, with pink sole and gold lace lock. The Louis Vuitton logo appears on the tongue and on the side-panel of the shoes.

A 1,474 megapixel image of Obama’s inauguration

A dude named David Bergman used a device known as a gigapan imager to take 220 pictures of Obamas inauguration which link together to form an incredibly large and detailed picture. He has put it up onto his website to allow everyone to zoom in and look around the crowd and the surroundings. Go and take a look, the detail you get when you zoom in and the distance you can see is remarkable, see the face of anyone in the crowd. People on engadget have found P.Diddy, Denzel Washington, Tom hanks, Aretha Franklin and some snipers in the windows.

Kanye West For Louis Vuitton High Top Sneaker Preview

After presenting you yesterday another Louis Vuitton sneaker designed by Kanye West, we give you today a first look at the high top model that will be coming as part of the collaborative collection. It seems to come with a pretty clean design, two wide velcro straps and an interesting mix of premium materials. Hopefully we get soon a better look at this one!

Nike Coraline Dunk | Special Edition Artist Edition and Online Game

Wieden+Kennedy 12, in partnership with Nike and LAIKA Studios, conceptualized this mysterious Dunk to celebrate Coraline, LAIKA’s first feature film, which will be released by Focus Features. True to the films unique, handcrafted anime style, the high-end canvas upper features a turned edge and the black visible seam is hand-sewn, ensuring each pair has a unique bespoke feel. The tonal contrast in materials and subtle, hidden details reflect the film’s sense of curiosity, not to mention the glow in the dark sole – spooky! The final product was created by artist Gian Galang and Rob Heppler.

A run of 1,000 is available for those lucky people who uncover codes on the Coraline website. A limited edition artist pack has also been released. These feature additional props from the film and a special box.
