After a successful collaboration with Vans, Long Beach boutique Proper has now worked with Reebok on several colorways of the Dual Pump Runner. The sneaker comes in three colorways with the upper made of a mix of mesh and suede. The Proper logo is featured on the heel. These should be coming out some time this summer.

Adidas x Ronnie Fieg “Overcast” Metro Attitude Hi

Adidas got together with Ronnie Fieg for the second time to create the “OVERCAST” Metro Attitude Hi’s. Fieg adds his touch of premium materials to the classic silhouette mixing high grade navy nubuck along with tumbled navy leather and micro perforated grey leather. The shoes come with three laces, lime green, grey, and a lace that fades from dark navy to white as well as a printed insole that reads “R4D”(Ronnie for David Z.). Supreme x Budweiser Collection

Supreme’s next collaborative capsule collection is done with American beer brand Budweiser. The collection consists of shirts. t-shirts, caps, tote bags, hats and more, all plastered with with Supreme x Budweiser graphics. The clothing with the all over print is definitely too heavy for our eyes, but the t-shirts and accessories work from an aesthetic stand-point.

Rocksmith x Black Star

Today Rocksmith will release two t-shirts to commemorate the highly anticipated on-stage return of Black Star, the legendary duo of Mos Def and Talib Kweli. The two designs will be available during the Black Star show at Nokia Theater in NYC. A limited quantity will also be available on Karmaloop.com. The Black Star concert, presented by Blacksmith and LiveNDirect, will consist of an early and late show on one day only.

Japan Update: Flip The Script X Dee Jae

Veterans in the Japanese Street Wear scene, Flip The Script drops a new tee to remind folks how long they have been keeping it Fresh...14 years to be exact. Known for their always innovative cut and sewn and outerwear pieces. This time FTS teams up with Bay Area artist turned Japan resident Dee Jae Pa'este of Konscious Klothing for a nice collab tee. Looking back to the classics for inspiration with a tribute to RUN DMC, but putting a bit of his own personal twist on it with the hand drawn styles. Def Jam continues to celebrate their 25th anniversary this year and will be presenting a large sneaker pack in collaboration with adidas later this year. The pack consists of the Forum, Nizza, Samba, Stan Smith and Superstar, each coming in a variety of colorways. On top of collaborations with the Def Jam label, adidas also presents collaborations with Red Man, Young Jeezy and Ghostface as part of the pack. The pack is part of the adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2009 Collection.

The Gumball 3000 road race is currently winding its way from Los Angeles to Miami, by way of Vegas, Dallas, New Orleans and every stretch of highway in between. A mix of wealthy euros, reality show participants, and David Hasslehoff whipping pimped out rides across the country with no rules, the Gumball 3000 also attracts a cadre of action sports athletes like Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra, Mat Hoffman and Bam Margera. This pair of Nike hybrids, which we’ve come to know as the Nike Zoom Fun Police, should be making a big impact in 2009. They sport a predominantly black upper along with purple and yellow accents, as they are modeled after the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. The shoes sport a suede construction, along with the Fun Police logo on the back ankle tab. No word yet as to a release or if they are actual PE’s but we’ll keep you guys informed.
