The Beat was originally used on Statik and Termanology’s 1982 project. We started this record while working on our future project with Statik, but he used the beat on 1982. We felt it was appropriate to release, with the passing of the inspiring & great ivory queen Ms. Teena Marie. May she Rest in Peace. – Krondon
