We’ve been bumping this heavy around the office, cause it’s a great way to catch up on the reggae fire you might have missed throughout the year. Staples like Capleton, Sizzla, Junior Kelly and Luciano join the likes of Romain Virgo, Da’Ville, Ziggi and Gappy Ranks. While Jamaican music troops forward, busting down barriers and forever creating new styles by co-opting the engineering and producing techniques that become popular in the states and elsewhere, the one-drop culture reggae vibes continue on in their original tradition, holding firm for the core roots culture.
